Workshop on Newspaper Designing and Layout

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication organized a two day workshop on “Layout and Designing of Newspaper and Magazine” on October 3-4, 2016 at Computer Lab, ISIM Campus. Designing Softwares Coral Draw, Photoshop and Quark Express was taught and practiced during the workshop. It was organized for the students of MA(JMC) sem I and BA(JMC) Sem III.

The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Satyajeet Talukdar, Group Design Head, National Dunia. In the two day workshop, students learned to design magazine on Coral Draw, picture editing on Adobe Photoshop and page designing on Quark Xpress. Last day, prints of the final pages designed by the students were taken and exhibited. It boosted the students’ moral.
